The Van Gogh Exhibition
hrs
The Royal Academy of Arts presents a landmark exhibition of the work of Vincent Van Gogh (1853–1890). The focus of the exhibition is the artist's remarkable correspondence. Over 35 original letters, rarely exhibited to the public due to their fragility, are on display, together with around 65 paintings and 30 drawings that express the principal themes to be found within the correspondence.
The first major Van Gogh exhibition in London for over 40 years, this is a unique opportunity to gain an insight into the complex mind of Vincent van Gogh.
Catch the train about mid-day to Euston from MK Central - aim to be at the exhibition about 1.30 pm. Restaurant afterwards is optional.

Around The World In 80 Tastes – Persia
730 pm hrs
Yet another New Year to celebrate! 20th March is the Persian New Year, so let’s commemorate the day in true Persian style with a meal at the Shiraz (next to Waitrose, CMK). Persian food is exotic and colourful, yet simple and healthy with unique Persian spices such as saffron, dried limes, barberries and sumac delicately mixed.
We came here last year and were extremely impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. The Shiraz offers an eat as much as you like 3 course buffet (which caters vegetarians too) - all for the princely sum of £14. And if that wasn’t enough to tempt you, on Saturday they feature live belly dancers so you can feast your eyes on more than just good food!!
Option of going for a drink afterwards (that’s if we can drag you away from the belly dancers).
Being the new year, it’s going to be a busy night so let us know ASAP if you’d like to come!
